Testing Testing

Reflecting on the continuous testing we have to do during the COVID-19 pandemic, I created a piece that captures the anxious feeling of waiting for the result of a test. Whether it is a test for pregnancy or for HIV, these tests all work the same; a pink line indicating a control, and another pink line indicating the result of what you are testing for. For the first 15 minutes of the full three-hour instillation, the pink line might show up, and then the rest of the screen fills with pink lines until the video is complete.
